This workshop informs Business Owners, Managers, Officers and Workers on their legal duties under WHS law to maintain a safe and healthy workplace. It will assist in identifying the key stakeholders and their respective legal obligations under the WHS Act.

This workshop will take PCBUs, Officers, Managers and Workers through their legal responsibilities to identify and report notifiable incidents. The workshop content includes an overview of the WHS laws impacting on your business, and gives a legal definition/understanding of a notifiable incident and the requirements of reporting and following up on an incident to the appropriate authorities.

This workshop will inform the PCBU, management and workers of the nature and consequences of bullying and harassment in the workplace and how to develop an environment that encourages harmonious workplace relationships and stands against all inappropriate behaviours. Participants will be able to better define what constitutes bullying and harassment and how to develop and implement strategies to mitigate associated organisational risks.

This workshop will provide participants with a agreed upon hazard management process that is to be adopted in your workplace and also shows them how to best identify WHS hazards and implement and evaluate risk controls.

Manual handling is one of the most common causes of workplace injury throughout the globe. This course will inform Managers and Workers of the dangers associated with manual handling and the controls that are needed to reduce the risks associated with hazardous manual tasks. Participants will be equipped with safe manual handling techniques and how to best manage legal responsibilities under WHS law.

This workshop will inform PCBU’s, Managers and Workers of the stress process, how to identify stress, how to manage/reduce stress and its related symptoms. Participants will be given the tools to identify the signs and symptoms of stress and how to best manage occupational stress under WHS law.

This workshop will educate and equip Teens working within your organisation in work health and safety rights and responsibilities to ensure their personal safety and the safety and health of others during the course of the employment/work-placement. Course content provides an introduction to WHS and an understanding of WHS legislation.

This course covers the requirements to work on site within Australia, it takes participants through the requirements of current Federal and State legislation for working on site.

This workshop covers the general safety requirements for the Construction industry; specifically the obligations outlined within the Work Health and Safety Act (SA) 2012 for organisations that have 20 or more workers on site. It takes the participant through the many issues relating to the supervision, leading and controlling staff while on controlling the site.

This workshop has been specifically designed in accordance with the AS 3760:2010, AS 3012:2010 and SafeWork Australia’s ‘Code of Practice Managing Electrical Risks in the Workplace’.

This workshop provides the participant with the skills and knowledge necessary to identify asbestos containing materials (ACMs) or suspected asbestos containing materials (ACMs) to ensure that appropriate action is taken.

This course provides the participant with the skill and knowledge to prepare and respond to a variety of workplace emergencies i.e. Fire as outlined in Australian Standard AS3745:2010 Emergency Control Organisations and Procedures.

This course provides the participant with the skills and knowledge to enter and work within a Confined Space. It also takes the participant through what constitutes a Restricted Area and a Confined Space accordingly to the WHS Act.

This course provides the participant with the skills and knowledge to operate a Breathing Apparatus. It will take participants through Atmosphere testing, Completing and Adhering to a Permit, and general safety while working in an area that requires a breathing apparatus to be worn.
