RTO COMPLIANCE WORKSHOPS
HAPTA Compliance RTO Compliance Workshops
HAPTA Compliance understands that RTO’s are a business and it is for that reason that sometimes the training for their own staff becomes secondary, but imagine if on your next audit that your all of your staff and trainers actually understood what is needed and what the ASQA or Regulatory Body is actually after and asking for. It is for this reason that HAPTA Compliance has designed the following (3) three ‘Professional Development’ training workshops:
RTO Compliance
What is included in the workshop? This workshop is focused on reviewing each standard and identifying the evidence you will need to collect to demonstrate compliance. Delivered by a qualified and experienced auditor who has attended and lead many state and federal Audits, you will learn from an auditor’s perspective what your RTO is required to have in place to be compliant.
What this course will cover?
Tips on how to be ‘Audit’ ready
Tools on how to design and develop ‘Training & Assessment Strategies’ (TAS)
Tools on how to gain ‘Effective’ Industry Consultation
What should be covered within your RTO’s policies & procedures
What is ‘Continuous improvement’ and how to implement it.
Validation: If you have subscribed to ASQA notifications you would have seen that the number one reason for Non-Compliance for most RTO is ‘Standard One’ – The RTO’s training and assessment strategies and practices are responsive to industry and learner needs and meet the requirements of training packages and VET accredited courses.
This due to the fact that RTO’s are not systematically validating their tools to ensure that they are meeting the Training Package and/or AQF requirements. This workshop will provide you with the skills to facilitate an assessment validation session, as well as give you an opportunity to validate two assessment tools within the workshop.
What is the purpose of the Workshop?
To improve the quality and consistency of assessment throughout the
RTO’s scope of registration
To develop an understanding of the “why” and “how” of assessment validation
To provide an opportunity for assessors to validate existing tools and to moderate assessment evidence related to specific units of competency
What are the benefits of attending the workshop?
The workshop will assist RTO’s to meet ASQA validation requirements
Participants can be assured of the quality of the RTO’s assessment practices
Help assessors working across the industry to apply consistent standards and make consistent judgements
RTO Health & Safety: RTO’s are like any business operating in or outside Australia and like many businesses that are concentrating on the operation ‘In’ more than the operation ‘On’, it is for this reason that ACRMS has designed a specific 1 day workshop solely on the Safety concerns for RTO’s.
What is the purpose of the Workshop?
To improve staff and managements understanding of their WHS/OHS obligations
To develop an understanding of the “why” and “how” to comply with WHS legislation
To provide an opportunity for management, trainers and staff to gain a greater understand of ‘Hazard Identification’ and the ‘Risk Assessment’ processes
To provide a chance to go over any concern with current WHS policy and procedures with a qualified WHS Expert
